He has travelled to nearly 40 countries and stayed in all types of accommodation from hotels and hostels to yurts in outer Mongolia, enjoying local experiences along the way.


Yahya Fetchati Chief Operating Officer at Bookassist

Bookassist was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1999. Entirely self-financed and consistently profitable, management comprises an expert and award-winning team with decades of experience in scientific and technology research, in the hospitality industry, in internet consultancy and in enterprise-level software development. Bookassist has long been recognised as a thought leader, first-mover and innovator in the hospitality technology space.

Yahya is a former Director of Hotel Partner Marketing at Lastminute.com and former Managing Director of Hotels for Europe at Hotels.com. An experienced hospitality technology professional having worked as a hotelier before moving into online distribution, he is a recognised expert on the online space. He oversees the business operations of all Bookassist offices and partners, and is responsible for global business development.

Kevin O'Shaughnessy,CEO and co-founder of Indigo

Indigo is asearch and reservation platform for airport-to-city transfers. Indigo makes airport transfers an integral part of the travel planning and reservation process.

Kevin designed the Indigo service, and previously CityHook to improve the passenger experience. Great easy-to-follow instructions to make the journey options easy to understand for hundreds of different transport options across Europe, with hundreds more destinations being actively researched.

In Dublin, Kevin is also the organizer of the Dublin Travel Massive chapter.
